Can’t save GIFs, can’t browse photos, it went from a 5 to a 1.

I paid for pro. The app will not let me add anything except one single-shot photo. Useless. No instructions.

Can’t save gifs anymore because the check mark is behind the battery & wi-fi indicators of the iPhone screen. Please update this app... it was my fav.

Paid $2.99 for no results. Then it needed to access my camera to work.

Seems like critical buttons are in the notch area in the iPhone 12 (I assume X and 11) screen. Pretty sad because I loved this app. All the newer gif programs seem to require monthly payments (?! Really ?!) would gladly pay more to have it fixed. Help us developer!

Pointless when the UI is designed for an iPhone 6. Why can’t I just edit existing gifs? Not a linear editor. Just what a refund

I used to love this app, but it’s not optimized for the iPhone 11 Pro, and it’s impossible to tap the check mark to save a gif. If I can’t save a gif after creating it, the app is useless.

saves as a really poor quality.

The pics I uploaded were perfectly clear but when I uploaded them, the gif came out SUPER blurry.

Been looking for a decent gif making app for ever. I really like this one so far.

I was really excited to see the resulting gif/video I created from 30 or so stop-motion photos. The ‘GIF preview’ showed the photos at full resolution, but the saved version is low definition at best. If the developer can explain a setting I may have missed, or fix this issue, I will change my rating.

Never had a problem using this on any iOS version.

I wish it had an access code feature to get into it or Touch ID.

I have an iPhone 6 and I am not having any problems with this. It auto saves all images and the gif to your phone so there’s no need to look for a “save to photos” button. Just export and click finish. The quality is fine.

I really like this interface. It’s pretty intuitive and it does give you a good gif making experience but then...all the time you spend making your gif goes to waste because of the horrible export quality even of you select “large gift image size” in settings. I regret paying for this app when there are other similar free apps that give you the same poor quality results.

Love the many features and ease of use but the final gif/video quality is so low that Giffer gifs are virtually unshareable on social media, which is my main reason for making gifs.

My main use case is saved video to gif. Giffer makes you clip it down, but you can only clip from the end, not the front of the video. Also, there doesn’t seem to be a way to increase the quality or size of gifs. Was hoping for quite a bit more control of this and less on camera tools.

It will not work with a 'burst' mode of iPhone photos. I took 36 pictures of our dogs playing and we tried and tried to get it to work, even with the app writer, Taber, giving me tech support help. I did not ask for my $4 back, as I am going to try it with 2 or 3 photos, but not downloaded first. So instead, I made a movie of the 36 dog pictures with iMovie. I hope they have an update, so that you can use this app for already downloaded pictures, it certainly would be fun.

Do not get this app. It produces equally terrible gifs as those of the free variety. I once spent $5 on a bet centered around who could spit farther and I lost, this app was a bigger waste of money than that.

I find the controls either missing or unintuitive. I find no documentation built in to help. Some results I get seem arbitrary and the settings are not focused on the process but on sharing.

I can't figure out how to save and send working GIFs with the camera roll. That leaves a niche Giffer fills neatly, and does it well. I have never had a problem with it.

This is a waste of money! They are way better gif apps out there.. and are free.

Super fun and easy way to make stop motion animation

Its easy and so much fun to edit and animate photo bursts!!

I had a problem, and this tool sold it perfectly. It was very hard to get animated GIFs posted on to Instagram, without manually copying the images to my phone, but now I can grab a URL from anywhere on the Internet including my own servers, and easily upload the animation to Instagram. The developer also added a feature I requested, so they are definitely listening to their customers. Thanks!

I just blew $3.99 on a horrible app. There are so many free apps that do what this one does. It froze up on me and doesn't even do the one thing I want it to: upload a larger video (only 12 seconds long). It will only let me upload about half of my 12 second video. It should have said the maximum time frame in the description. If I could get a refund, I would. Total trash.

Beyond the crappy quality of the animated gif captured, this app DOES NOT EVEN DISPLAY IN LANDSCAPE MODE despite the iPad Pro lock. This app is one reason I wish they would have iPhone and iPad categories. No app should be allowed to NOT have a landscape mode and be listed for iPad. I really wish I could get my money back for this wasted purchase despite the review I read. Don't be me, read more before buying.

images are far too compressed

Don't waste your money. The quality of what you see on the app is great but as soon as you try to upload it on Instagram the quality goes down by 50% I can't even tell what I'm looking at!

What a easy app to use to create great Gif. Love it. Best Gif app in the App Store. Money well spent.

Terrible app, I feel scammed by the misleading description. And NOT for iPad.

This is an app to EDIT gifs, not make them. To add a photo to a gif you have to open the camera. Then select the icon that means "share" in most apps. Then when you do, not all of the albums (folder) are there. Once you get your photos into one of the albums the app can see, and get them all painstakingly arranged in the right order. This app resorts them into some other random order!!!! I want my money back.

This does just what I needed in creating a short compact video of a number of still pics. I had to hunt to find a few things but otherwise it's great!

App crashes constantly and is a waste of money.

Really bad export quality. Feels like a horrible gif from the late 90's. Misleading app description and overpriced for an underwhelming product - wish I could get a refund.

Very intuitive, has decent feature set, but could be better with a richer feature set. Combined with pic-play-post, I get what I need. As noted elsewhere, rendering could be sharper. All in all, a pleasure and go-to program for someone me who uses GIFs for teaching purposes.

Yes, that's fine for some things, but not when importing video. I probably wouldn't have tried the app if the description had been clear about this 80-frame limit and the fact that it doesn't let you use a simple 10-second video. --

Makes unacceptably low resolution GIFs. Cannot even remotely compare with GIFs made with PShop on Computer
